Passage
In this passage Padmasambhava looks at the gist of each sku, gsung, and thugs. He writes that the gist of sku is chos kyi sku which, unlike other sku, is invariant, unqualified, and uncorrupted by conditions; the gist of gsung is rang bzhin dngos med which, unlike language as used and understood by sentient beings, is unceasing, devoid of actuality, and no thing in itself (the gist of human speech if understood deeply); and the gist of thugs is mnyam nyid 'khrul pa med pa (non errant identity with the whole) which, unlike other thugs, is the unfailing sangs rgyas kyi thugs.
