Note
'Jigs med gling pa's root text discusses dge 'dun as the third of the three jewels both in its Hīnayāna and Mahāyāna aspects. Yon tan rgya mtsho's discussion (which follows 'Jigs med gling pa's autocommentary 392.4) of the Mahāyāna Saṅgha begins on 533.2. See in particular his distinction between outer Saṅgha and inner Saṅgha [534.1]. See under the term rig grol gyi yon tan brgyad.
