In this passage Klong chen pa delineates the four black actions to be avoided and four white actions to be embraced. His source for both is the Dkon mchog brtsegs pa'i 'od srungs kyis zhus pa'i mdo {116336} (see Shing rta chen po 623.1). Note
On the topic of training in the aspiration phase of bodhicitta, 'Jigs med gling pa discusses the four black and four white actions. He notes in Bden gnyis shing rta p. 576 that the term chos is here used in the sense of complete appropriation of the matter at hand, chos yongs su 'dzin pa and can therefore be either positive or negative depending on the content. His sources include the 'Od srungs kyis zhus pa'i mdo {116336} that Klong chen pa quotes in Shing rta chen po (see the entry {116031:622}) but other sources as well. His black actions are the same as Klong chen pa but his white actions are slightly different. He mentions various sources for these eight in Mahāyāna literature (see Bden gnyis shing rta {115781:581.2}) and then notes that although there are many classifications of the eight white and black actions, Tibetans tend to follow the two charioteers.
