Comment: In the Tibetan medical system, one of the three primary elements promoting health, when balanced, and disease, when imbalanced--the other two being wind (rlung) and phlegm (bad kan). The three are called the three problematics (nyes pa, dośa), often mistranslated as humours, which are necessarily fluids whereas wind is not a fluid.
