5 Nga the open, nature of the natural, naturally.

O Natural housewife, by good or evil never stained

If sheer bliss the yogi ever can arouse,

Night's darkness quelled, the lucent open dawns!

(Line 1) Nga stands for the prefix Na which implies "freedom from deceptiveness". Na in turn stands for "naya" meaning "natural". The nature of the natural mind is deeply understood through self excitatory awareness to be nothing as such (pure potential) but is not something fashioned as "nothing" (empty) by the intellect.

Na stands for "naya" meaning "natural". When the natural house mistress who is spontaneous mind cleans the mind (to restore its nature purity), it will no longer be stained by the defects of good and evil and they will no longer be able to harm it.

Natural mind, once grasped, is no by good or evil stained

Natural housewife, leading one on to spontaneity

Ever holding You, one by birth or death is never bound.

(Line 1) N.a stands for "n.aya" or "n.ija" meaning "natural mind". This natural mind has remained uncontrived since beginningless beginning, having never been created by causes or conditions, and its divisive concepts have remained naturally radiant. This process 'mind' in its innermost dynamics is openness (as pure potential), meaning that it is not some "emptiness" constructed by extraneous means/

(Line 2) N.a stands for "niyamana" meaning "natural thought" (gnyug ma'i yid). When the time has come to deeply understand the nature of the natural, this has nothing whatever to do with (judgements of) "good" and "evil" and so forth because when such divisive notions are no longer present, one is no longer stained by them.

(Line 3) N.a stands for "n.ayaghari" meaning "natural house mistress". When you are set straight by spontaneity, she is delighted, but when you find joy in merely meditating on your spurious notions, she is very annoyed. (See also Dohākośa Mahāmudrā Upadeṣa, Peking Otani Bka' 'gyur v. 69, 110.3.7)
