The Four Cycles. A doxography that presents a series of four classifications of the Great Perfection (rdzogs chen): (1) the External Cycle (phyi skor), (2) the Internal Cycle (nang skor), (3) the Secret Cycle (gsang skor), and (4) the Unsurpassed Secret Cycle (bla na med pa'i skor). According to this scheme, the lower three cycles (skor gsum) culminate in the fourth. The fourth cycle is identified with the Great Perfection movement called the Seminal Heart (snying thig).
